Nothing is the antithesis of something

Nothing is the antonym of something (i.e., object, thing):
nothing: that which has no shape
(synonyms: space, vacuum)
If a thing is that which has shape, nothing is its antonym: that which doesn’t. Now we can use these two strategic terms consistently in a dissertation of Physics.
Unfortunately, there is no picture that we can post to help you visualize nothing. The reason for this is that nothing is a concept.

  1. In modern physics, if the background radiation is “something” or the “ether” from which sub-atomic particles come in & out of existence, then by your definition “nothing” – that which has no shape – is the background of our universe from which all are subatomic particles derived
